UWMMA added PK-1 rules for professional Kickboxing

As many promotors are doing mixed events with MMA and Kickboxing on the fightcard, UWMMA was asked to provide a rules set for “Professional Kickboxing”. Having a rules set for Kickboxing available, the promotors can deal with UWMMA as one sanctioning body for their mixed sports events. This will safe the promotors money and extra work to deal with two or more commissions for one single event. Listening to our partners, UWMMA officially added the PK-1 rules set to be able to regulate and officiate fights in professional Kickboxing.

The UWMMA Kickboxing rules have been developed by our most experienced referees who all have officiated many Kickboxing fights on the highest level of worldwide professional Kickboxing.

A short shoutout to all international Kickboxing federations. The creation of the UWMMA PK-1 rules has only taken place to serve our partners at mixed fight events. By no means UWMMA will compete against or interfere in any of the Kickboxing federations businesses!
